Their wedding day was finally here and that morning, to no ones surprise, Eric went for a run. He didn’t go for a 1 mile run or an 8 mile run. No, Eric went for an 18 mile run, which for him is no biggie. And lets be honest, it took a lot of convincing from her bridesmaids for Anne to decide to forgo an equally long run that morning. Both accomplished runners in their own right, Eric currently holds the world record for treadmill marathon running and Anne competes in marathons most people could only dream of getting through the first tenth of. It’s safe to say, I feel a little bit cooler and less athletic knowing them. : )
Running is a huge part of their love story… From meeting at a marathon, to running together all over the country, their shared love for this activity is part of the reason why they are the perfect match. They encourage and support one another in races and in life’s day to day hurdles. And the best part is, they are one another’s biggest fans. You only need to spend 5 minutes with them and see the way they lean into one another and laugh together to figure this out.
Anne and Eric’s wedding at The Meadowlands was a beautiful celebration with not a detail overlooked. Wildflower arrangements and sterling silver vintage details complimented the mansion’s gorgeous decor and intimate gardens. Guests floated inside and out enjoying music from a jazz duo and amazing food from the super talented Marcia Selden Catering & Event Planning. It was perfection.
Anne & Eric – You two are an unstoppable team and a couple that I know will continue to run through life side by side accomplishing great things. Chris and I are honored to know you both and your families and to have captured your special day! CONGRATS!
