Nothing would have stopped Kelley & Frank’s plans to spend the weekend in Vermont visiting their friend. Nothing except Irene. Hurricane Irene that is. So they postponed their visit for two weeks later. It was a beautiful September weekend in Vermont, with crystal blue skies and golden sun. After a morning run Kelley suggested they go explore a nearby town. They walked around and enjoyed lunch at Simone Pierce. On the car ride home they soaked in all of the natural beauty and enjoyed small talk. Frank pulled the car over alongside some apple trees to pick them each an apple. It was right where Kelley had stopped that morning on her run to look at the view from the mountain. Kelley smiled as she watched Frank walk around the car and then ask if she was going to come with him. She didn’t THINK he really needed her help to pick an apple but she happily joined. Frank twisted a small apple off a branch and as Kelley turned to reached for it Frank was on bended knee.
Can’t wait for their wedding later this summer! Here are some of my favs from their sunshine soaked engagement session!
Frank was much braver then I would have been. I wasn’t worried about the cow as much as the electric fence! LOL
SO beautiful Kelley… truly.
One of my favorites!
I love this one! They are one of those couples that are just so happy to be with one another no matter where they are or what they are doing…
