Mark just followed his heart. He hadn’t planned to propose to Rosanne that night, but had known for a while she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. The moment was perfect and it just felt right… He grabbed the closest thing that could be made into a makeshift ring, and taking Rosanne’s hand, he asked her to marry him. Their Fordham University wedding ceremony was beautiful as the sun flickered through the stained glass windows and they said their I dos. Family and friends then enjoyed mint mojitos and a bagpipe escort to their reception at The Renaissance Westchester Hotel ballroom. I was so happy Mark & Rosanne decided to see each other before the ceremony and do a First Look. The expression on Mark’s face the first time he saw Rosanne on their wedding day was priceless. We then had plenty of time to walk the grounds and take photos before heading to Fordham University for the ceremony!
Their signature cocktail were fresh mint mojitos with matching mint colored straws. LOVE.
Guests were escorted from cocktails on the mansion terrace to the ballroom by a bagpiper… It was so awesome!
I LOVED their escort table card… each box contained seeds for the guest to grow their own fresh mint! Rosanne & Mark also included the recipe for their favorite mojito so guests could make it themselves with the mint they grow! The boxes were then packed with mint green and purple ribbons – their wedding colors!
