At their engagement shoot Jon and Jess began to give me a little sneak peak into what their wedding day was going to be like…. The crystal encrusted gown with fluffy flowing material on the bottom. A detour to the ice cream shop. The pinks, dark purple, and whites. Grandpa. A candy bar for their guests filled with their favorite sweets. Golf. Handmade table lanterns and floral arrangements dripping with crystals. Lots of dancing. As their day unfolded, it was more then I could have pictured and everything they described was 10 times that much more amazing then described.
As Jess walked down the aisle, she looked like an absolute princess. Everyone’s eyes were fixated on her and as she walked down the aisle all of their heads turned in unison. Some of the guests forgot they had their cameras in their hands and fumbled at the last second to catch a shot of her as she walked by. As she reached Jon with her grandpa, both gentlemen looked at Jess with the most amazing emotion. She was so loved. As they took their place Jon leaned in and whispered something in Jess’ ear… and she glowed. Jess was radiant and Jon equally dapper and handsome. After the ceremony Jess & Jon headed to their favorite ice cream shop to grab a cold treat. As I leaned in to snap a photo of the melting ice cream in all of its deliciousness Jon said with a grin, “this must be really hard for you.” Chris laughed the hardest as he knows I have SUCH a sweet tooth. When all the sprinkles were eaten we went to the beautiful reception and the night was just as they anticipated if not better – lots of details, lots of dancing, and lots of defining moments. I loved this moment. Jess slowly took a deep breath, closed her eyes for just a second and gently touched the back of her hair while the hair dresser showed the MOH how to take out the veil...
Jess put her grandma's bracelet around her bouquet for her something old... : )
When Jess' grandpa saw her for the first time, she took his breath away and he was speechless.... literally.

The afternoon sun was streaming in the church windows... As soon as they walked into the sun Jess read my mind. Magic happened as Jess turned her head toward her bridesmaids. A few words came to mind: princess, Audrey Hepburn, fabulousness.

Right after the ceremony Jess & Jon walked down the street to one of their favorite ice cream places for a treat! So cute!
