Woodlands Woodbury Wedding | Joyce & Jason

When she was younger, Joyce loved hanging out with her friend a few doors down in her Long Island neighborhood. Their families were super close and Joyce also became great friends with her friend's cousin, Jason. And Jason? Well it's safe to say that the highlight of visiting his cousin was seeing Joyce. He had a complete crush on her and it was no secret. But with Joyce showing, well, not as much interest... he was content being her friend... for now. Years passed and after other loves had come and gone out of both of their lives, their friendship was stronger then ever and Jason decided to make his move. During one visit when they were hanging out he leaned in and kissed her. Yup, just like that. And Joyce who may or may not have been playing hard to get gave him the, did-you-really-just-do-that look. Later that night their families decided to go out to dinner and Jason had someone else drive his car and said he would ride with Joyce. Smart move. When the two pulled into the parking lot, Joyce looked over at Jason and kissed him back. Followed by a few more kisses, the two had no idea that their families had arrived in their cars to the restaurant and saw the two and the beginning of their happily ever after...

Their Woodlands at Woodbury wedding was nothing short of spectacular. The two exchanged vows during a candlelight ceremony under the stars followed by an amazing celebration with family and friends that lasted well into the night!

Joyce & Jason - You two have a love that is truly so special... Chris and I adore you both and can't express how grateful we are to know you and to have captured your day! Congrats again you two!

Check out her SHOES! Ohhhhh my goodness, I was in heaven when I saw her blush mermaid crystal bootie by Sergio Rossi.

Beautiful floral design by the super talented Floresta (NYC)!

Ok, seriously? Joyce, could you be any more G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.?!

Joyce and Jason decided to do a First Look... It was SUCH a sweet and special moment...

They planned lots of time for photos of just the two of them at sunset.
The light was soft, beautiful and the kind I wish I could bottle and take home...

Love this one...

FAVORITE!

Just so sweet. On of my favorites!

LOVED the bridesmaid's dresses from Twobirds Bridesmaids... It's one dress that can be tied and wrapped differently into different styles. Such gorgeous gals!

I heart this one Chris took of their first dance...

The awesome ladies of Sweet Inspiration Events created breathtaking designs and coordinated the day to go off without a hitch!

One of the moments I will never forget from their wedding was at the end of the night... The newlyweds thanked their family and friends for showing them and teaching them what it was to love and for celebrating the day with them. As the clapping faded and everyone began dancing again Jason wrapped his arms around Joyce and kissed his new bride. It was such a pure and perfect moment...
