Longshore Winter Wedding | Alyssa & Mike

I can't imagine a more perfect way to end our 2017 wedding season then with Alyssa and Mike's breathtaking winter wedding at The Inn At Longshore! You guys, would you believe that the first real snow of the year here on the Connecticut coast was on their wedding day!? Days before when we saw the forecast with snow, I was like a kid counting down the days until Christmas and hoping and wishing that there would be some of that magical white sparkle. And let me tell you, Mother Nature did not disappoint! If I had to imagine what it's like to be inside of a life size snow globe, this would be it. It was every bit as magical as you would expect... and then some. Their wedding was woven with the kind of laughter that comes from deep within the soul, tears of joy and awe at once in a lifetime moments unfolding.
Alyssa & Mike - We adore the sweet, funny and kind-hearted couple that you are. Your wedding was truly magical from beginning to end, and we are so grateful to have been a part of it. Congrats again and we can't wait to grab another burger with you two at the Cheesecake Factory soon! :)
Here are some of my favorites from their special day...

The Mrs Box is will probably always be one of my favorite accessories to incorporate when photographing bridal details!

Insanely gorgeous looking AND smelling bouquets by Flowers By Danielle!

This girl right here is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! You are a classic beauty Alyssa!

Loved their classic invitations by Roseville Designs - they tied in perfectly with their black and white winter nuptials

The excitement on Mike's face seeing his bride = PRICELESS.

These next two photos were taken of the same moment, one taken by Chris and one taken by me... I love seeing a wedding day unfold through our images through two different perspectives.

Love this one!

Let is snowwwwww!! It was a perfect winter wonderland!

These gorgeous gals braved the cold and looked stunning doing it!

One of my favorites!

These guys were quite the characters and!

Another favorite!

Gosh I love this one so much!

It was so quiet and peaceful with the snow erasing every noise and leaving a beautiful blanket of white.

Couldn't get enough of the white birch details, some flown in from outside the country!

Loved every single thing about their floral and table design, not to mention the fresh smell of evergreen!

One of my favorite parts of the night was when the newlyweds surprised their parents by having each of their wedding songs played. Loved these sweet moments of the bride's parents dancing to their wedding song...

.... 2 seconds later.... This photo just makes me smile and if you know Alyssa and Mike, you know he is always making her laugh!

(yes this the groom!)!

You can only imagine the guests delight to discover a donut wall at the end of the night! If only this photo was scratch 'n sniff!
